Airlines generally use the actual gross weight (Kgs) or dimensional weight (Kgs), whichever is greater.

How to calculate dimensional weight?
Multiply the length(CM), width(CM) and height(CM) of the package and divide by 6000 to calculate the dimensional weight in kilograms (Kgs).
